The deadline is only weeks away and for those large energy users they must begin measuring their energy usage by 1st April.

Most companies will have until September to register with the Environment Agency, although those organisations using more than 6,000 Megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity a year will be required to begin measuring how much power they use from 1 April.

The problem for many is knowing whether they fall into this group or not, so many will be unaware of the impending deadline or know to what extend they should be measuring energy.
