UK Elections – when did the environment get discussed?
May 10th, 2010
With the electioneering over and the negotiations away to form a coalition government it seems that the environment caught little interest in the recent election.
Maybe the problem is that all parties largely agree on the pressing issues of energy security and climate change? Or maybe the parties are less clear on what they will do to tackle these differently? With many new forms of energy efficiency legislation underway the UK market needs clarity on how they will continue these initiatives and what moves they will make to ensure the UK meets our Kyoto agreements.
