GAIA Blog

Hello and welcome to my GAIA blog. Over the coming months I will share my views, moans, concerns and tittle-tattle about the world we live today and how our individual actions are impacting on our precious planet. Climate Change is high on the public agenda and both politicians and business are turning into crusaders of the green cause. But is this driving positive action to mitigate climate change of or is it just gloss and spin?

What a fantastic funnelling cul-de-sac carbon foot-printing has led to, a taxable commodity. One of the most effective ways to reduce carbon foot prints must be to reduce human feet. Who on the world stage other than in the field of a.i.d.s has challenged the catholic church on their, yes their policy, not god’s policy of contraception. I am not convinced by the carbon argument. In fact I laugh at the arrogance that we believe as humans we can ’save the planet’. If the planet was one year old, we as the earliest form of humans came onto the planet at approx. 2.30pm on New Years Eve. We should, and I am sure some have began to harness the energy of the universe; Nuclear energy is not only the way forward, but just the beginning.
